About the blog

We’ve all seen how much communications channels have sped up since social media took off like blogs, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube etc, so I have taken a particular interest in delving into how these “new” channels are working with traditional print and broadcast media to provide today’s brands with new avenues to reach out to the people that are listening (or trying to).

The traditional thinking behind the drivers of good public relations has always been about clear channels of two-way communications, and I’m a firm believer the principles that applied previously still apply today, possibly even more so.

However a few new rules have been introduced and the game has morphed into something that everyone now wants to play. And just like in any game, there’s always going to be someone who’s playing it smarter, harder, faster and better, so here’s where I’m going to share my thinking on who’s doing it right, who’s doing it wrong, and how you can get in and be a part of it.

I look forward to connecting with you and hearing how your experiences with social media have shaped your brand’s communications.

Feel free to leave a comment or drop me an email.

Cheers,
Marissa
